Do you have / need a Team?

Cool thread. Personally I'm a one man show but I don't think that would surprise anyone concerning numbers and so on.

I get by alone for sure but it's not really the workload that bothers me and that I would want to split with other people, it's the missing expertise. I would really like an artist or an animator or a graphics designer since I know barely anything about those and they just add a lot of personality and quality to a channel.

Hmm the only thing that comes to find is signing up with an agency. Base don your channel subscribers looks like you have a legi amout of subs to create interest from an agency.
Your post piqued my interest - do such agencies exist? I just googled "agencies that help youtube channels" but couldn't find anything. If they don't then somebody should really think about offering the service, I bet there would be a massive demand. If anybody knows of such an agency I would be grateful to hear about it.

having a team of animators would be epic, I dont make enough money for one person let alone a team, but a team would still be absolutely great for my type of content :)

I really enjoyed this thread since I am thinking of paying a production company to film my vlogs - currently I only use a pro team to film the documentary videos I produce, and the difference is night and day.

I took a look at your channel and see that you are getting the kind of success that most of us dream of, so if you have been doing it all by yourself up till now you obviously have a very broad set of skills; filming, post production, presenting, writing.... really impressive. On the basis of that I would say that you really don't need a manager, since you would be hard pressed to find somebody as good as you. It may be worth training somebody to do the post production the way that you like it though, since this can be a very time consuming process and is something that can be taught to a keen amateur without having to pay a fortune. You can just check the work before publishing and have your time freed up for other things.

Congratulations for the channel by the way.

Absolutely incredible advice! and thank you for the amazing compliments. I'm surely going to do that! You're wonderful!

Someone mentioned asking your friends to help out with some things, but honestly I think it's a bad idea generally. I've seen business and friendship mix too often with terrible consequences to ever consider using one of my friends in anything other than a temporary spot here and there. It's just a bad idea imo.

Thank you all for your amazing help and tips.

I've found the solution everybody and I'm super happy to share

Want a quality team on the cheap??? Fiverr, the end.

I will use that site and try a few people but I believe from now on I will outsource a majority of my work to them to help take the load off and give me more time to actually do what I love...
create content and spend time with my subscribers

You all are awesome!

Kinda depends on you channel I think, I could understand that if you want certain types of video's it could be handy to have someone opperate a camera for you or when you're growing rapidly with fame you could use a manager mabey..... but honestly I like to keep everything as much in my own hands as possible and be selfsuffiecent.
