Do They Really Like Your Content?

I subscribe to channels that are saying this ONLY IF they have the same kind or if not that sweet spot kind of channels that I'm looking for (usually people

playing/doing things stupidly with such games/objects) and edit them more hilariously relating with as much stupid stuff as possible such as a Spongebob picture,

some kind of meme and etc.. But yea I like checking the channels from these kind of comments because it allows to see new types of videos out there and even if they don't subscribe/unsubscribe within the next few days or so, it's totally fine for me :bounce:

It s***s me up the wall hardcore, especially when you're seeking comments over subs, views, likes etc... and you get an email saying someone commented on your video, only to read it was some insincere crap, it makes me furious, those people are a waste of sperm.

That being said you should report them as spam whether it's a message or comment, don't just delete them or ignore them, the reason why is YouTube's not actually detecting "sub for sub" comments (unless you yourself specifically filter them in the community options like I have) it's detecting comments that are considered spam based on the users activities & whether their previous comments on other channels have been marked as spam as well, so if you see a sub4sub comment in your spam tab, it's likely that user has already posted that same comment on multiple other channels prior to yours. Either way, the system works surprisingly well at filtering this crap, which is ironic since it's a system coded by the same company who coded the contentID system. xD

I agreed to a couple sub 4 subs when I started, but that was a silly move. It's true, they don't care at all about your content. In fact, it's really hard to find people are genuinely do care. That's how it's been for me, anyway. My sub list has been very slow growing.

Sub4sub comments, however nicely phrased, really annoy me. Do I want a subscriber who won't watch my videos and who I've subscribed to in return in order to not watch their videos too? No! And there's always the worry that the people who have subscribed to me have only done so to try and get me to sub back, not because they actually like my videos.

the sentence of death
LOL. :D Accurate. :sour2:
and you are not obligated to check out their channel.
Yeah, but there's always a chance that the person meant what they said, so I want to be nice. But it's tough when you don't know their true intentions. :O_o2:

It is just like a punch to the face considering they are only there to help there own channel.
It happened again yesterday, and just when I thought their nice words were meant seriously, they upvoted all of their own comments. Why does someone do that... to get top comment and be noticed by others! :facepalm2:

I made a video about how much I made sub-4-sub actually.

In general, I just ignore those comments or just say no. I do, however, have some super fans who comment on most of my videos which is awesome. :)

Sounds "sub 4 subby" and obviously should be ignored..... seriously, these have got to be shameless kids doing this without knowing it's frowned upon.... or just some weirdo who knows if's frowned upon and does it anyways.... shameless, Garth Brooks would say ;)
