Do I need reddit?

I personally wouldn't recommend reddit, I tried to advertise their a couple of time and each time I've gotten 5+ dislikes from doing so...
Getting Likes or Dislikes is not our problem. its users problem. because they personally like or dislike. so, how to advertise on it?

Just write a couple sentences about yourself and the video then just put the link below, you will get a lot of views from it but like I said before a lot of dislikes...

It's not a horrible idea, but you have to be careful how you go about it. Don't just come out and say you're looking for more subs and views. Ask if you're going in the right direction, or if people are enjoying your content. While you may get more subs and views, you will also get potential advice to improve.

Be careful with reddit.

It can be very helpful, but don't just link dump or you won't last long. Become part of the community you plan to share your videos with.

I would not say you need it to promote videos but it`s a complex tool that needs to be used carefully. I did a little research on that site, seeing what videos posted on there were getting on there in terms of stats. Most of the videos were getting 5 or 6 dislikes and well not great feedback. But there some that got good stats. So it`s really a hit or miss tool to use tbh.

Note that you can be kicked out of reddit if you are just self-promoting. Usually you should share more other content. Apart from that it can work great if you choose the right subreddit.
