none, tried using bandicam but that recorded laggy and editing software could not import so i had to go back to fraps but isn't too bad since i have a dedicated HDD to recording

For what its worth, I find that FRAPS is a massive amount better if you record to a different drive than the one you are playing the game on

I use to use fraps, but I prefer Bandicam now. There is no reason a recording of one game should be 50+ GB, when it could be 2-3GB.

I use Dxtory. When I get a new PC I'll definitely be using Nvidia ShadowPlay with a GTX800 or 700 series.

I use shadowplay for my playthroughs and its the best program I've ever used. Maybe 3 fps loss at most and you get 1080p footage thats less than half the size of a fraps movie. Couldn't ask for more.

I'm trying Camstudio now and i think this will be a good program! Only trying out which framerate options are the best to record my desktop. Does anyone know this?

Rylstim Screen Recorder is also good, but only lags sometime. Two mouse pointers appear on a recording for example.

Maybe you can tryout "OBS" or "Bandicam"...both of the software are just awesome
