Can someone explain why people go mad over dislikes ?

I kinda understand where your coming from, personally when I see a load of dislikes but a least a quarter of likes I still want to watch the video. It just makes me think that the video is going to contain some really inappropriate and insulting stuff :)

But most people get upset with a bunch of dislikes even when their likes still out weight the dislikes so any sane person would realise more people have liked it then disliked it
 
1) Haters gonna hate.
2) There's no such thing as bad press.
3) The only people on YouTube not getting dislikes are also not getting views.

It's my personal opinion that people who click dislike are losers anyway -- or those who leave mean comments. If you have nothing better to do than put down a YouTube video, you need to expand your horizons a little. So don't let it bother you. Just sayin'.

I just don't give af if you don't like my videos cause i know there are people that do enjoy it. if someone dislikes and doesnt give constructive criticism then i couldn't care less about them. Same with real life, if someone doesn't like me, i couldn't care less.I don't censor myself to appease others.
 
hmmm yeah I agree with you, everyone likes different things! Just feels a bit crap when you get one I suppose!
 
I find it irritating because I STILL have at least one dedicated loser downvoting every video I upload. I wish more of my sub base would thumb up my content more so it evens it out >___>

I think a lot of us get someone like that. I have one dude that not only 'dislikes' my videos instantly without watching them, he tweets his buddies and asks them to do the same. Pretty lame. Meh. Keep your head held high. You can't control that s**t.
