Derral Eves suggests releasing videos 3 hours before your peak time in order to get the most views. I've been doing this for a while now (I actually have two peak times, separated by a few hours, so I release my videos 3 hours before the first) and it's been working well for me :)

mm dont think so u get ranked if u get more than 500 views the first day than youtube gonne promote it to others
 
I highly recommend you try TubeBuddy, it has a really cool feature where you can check exactly which day and between which hours you get the most views! Good luck :)

Usually the best time for me is between 6-8 PM. I have found if I upload too late people don't watch till the next day.
