are they traitors ?

There are a lot of YouTubers out there that started with YouTube because they were Actors and wanted to use their craft. If you don't have work, you make your own. I do think that it would suck if they got got famous and just stopped making videos on YouTube all together- that would kind of be betrayal because it was the viewers that helped them get there in the first place. So I get if you meant it like that.
I also kind of hate when bigger YouTubers erase some of their old videos as if they are ashamed of how they started or where they came from :(

Hey if I had a bunch of old videos where I acted and sounded like a pillock I probably wouldn't keep them around either, even if I still did YouTube haha plus sometimes old videos has opinions or views that they no longer agree with

That's true. People grow and change.
 
Well, traitors would be a kind of harsh word imo. I honestly don't get annoyed or mad when youtubers do this. You can't expect them to have as much time as before if they become famous, as long as they remember how they started, I don't think there's a problem with it.
