Annoying comments

Okay guys this is probably so random but I have been getting so many comments of people asking me to check out their channel and I am So annoyed! Does anyone else feel this way or have this problem? Hahah or is it just me noticing it. I don't mind supporting other youtubers but when you have people who clearly didn't watch your video and just comment "hey check out my channel and subscribe" it can get pretty annoying when a LOT of people do it. I was wondering if this means I need to work on building a better community so I get more real comments but I'm not sure.

Comment you lots guys!
 
I've been getting that a lot lately as well. I actually got one the other day that was like "I like your channel. This comment is not spam, so don't be fooled. This comment is actually to let the public know that our channel has some exciting new content, blah, blah, blah." It was literally three paragraphs long.

Usually with the sub4sub comments or the people I can tell didn't really come to watch my video, I just won't reply to their comment or give it a thumbs up. If it's an actual advertisement for their channel like the comment I mentioned above, I mark it as spam.

I'm generally not that bothered by them though. As long as I've got a pretty decent number of genuine comments, I'm happy and I think replying back to build that community is beneficial. Eventually the spammers will dwindle away once they've noticed you're not giving them the time of day (hopefully, anyway).

Not sure if that was helpful in any way. That's just what I've been doing. :p
 
Yeah I know how you feel ! People like that aren't really putting 100 percent into youtube. It's pathetic if they have to go to someone's channel and comment that. But hey look at it in a positive way, they give you views haha. But in a serious note, you will get all kinds of annoying people.
 
It was annoying when I watched a video about how hard it is for New YouTubers, subscribed to somebody's channel, gave a genuine commenting while requesting a sub and got a condescending answer.

Dude I get that it's hard! Trust me. Being a small you tuber is such a difficult thing but hey, we are all where you are. Just because you subscribe to someone's channel does not mean that they need to subscribe back. You should never go to another persons channel and request a sub. I find that rude. Keep grinding and taking feedback from other people. This site has been super helpful for me already. I've gotten a lot of feed and and am building new friends. You should be building subscribers based on your content and how they like it, not just because you subbed them and want them to sub back. Not trying to be rude, just saying how it looks from an outsiders point of view.
 
I've gotten several of these recently too. I think they come in waves. My usual response is to just ignore them and hope it doesn't make me look like a jerk. People asking for subs or blatantly advertising just comes with the territory I guess.

Don't even pay attention to them just delete the comment and move on it really isn't worth your time seriously don't help them if there gonna disrespect your content by doing that XD
