All right, I caved! Sue me!

I built a computer late last year that helps speed through the editing process. This year, we need to upgrade our two camcorders to something better. The new ones will cost $1500 and $1100. We also need to get two shotgun mics ($250 each plus $50 for the windscreen), a portable light bank ($35 each), the brackets to attach all the stuff to the camcorder and some higher capacity batteries. This is going to be an expensive year.

Wow. I'd recommend selling some organs but with what you guys eat you'll need them :')

yer his computer is a total BEAST :') it runs any game on the highest graphics :') and videos render insanely fast but he doesn't let me use it :/

My channel is important to me, and sooner or later the indie games will either become stale or dry up entirely because my comp won't be able to handle them as they get better and more advanced.

My computer desperately needs the RAM upgrade whether I get a HD PVR or not (even if I never gamed on it, it's over four years old and only has 2GB of RAM, I'm upgrading to 8GB), and the PVR will help my channel grow because I can play more games and expand my channel past the indie games alone.

ANYWAY, so... yeah. RAM is ordered, I'm about to order the Elgato, so very soon once I've perfected how to use it and settings and whatnot, I'll be uploading Xbox games! Woop! I've been looking for an excuse to re-play Mass Effect 3 and Red Dead etc so that oughta be fun :D

Soooo yay! Anyone else getting any upgrades for the sake of their channel? New camera? New PVR? New computer?

I have a Elgato they are really easy to use :) and there is only 3 cables you need

I changed my mind partially because the Elgato SD require so many additional components that I didn't have that the cost would've been near enough the same so I thought why not just get HD and have 720 video :) And all those WIRES?! Yeesh! It looked like the 1980s on demo videos I saw lmao.
