Time to get over your impatience. YouTube is for the long haul :)
But hey, it could always be worse!

Well we cant all have what we want right. You just have to keep finding ways in improving your channel. on this forum you will a looooooooooooooooooot of guides that will give you the information you need. You is a waiting game. We can all be as impatient as we want, but thats not gonna change the situation. Its all about you making the first and right steps. People will share your channel if they see you have the content they like. You cant just randomly ask people to share your channel just because youre impatient :P

I wasn't asking people to share... I was asking about your ways, or what you guys found beneficial to the growth of your channel...

You have to make good friends w/ your subscribers! Chat w/ them on Skype, Youtube Inbox, etc, make them loyal to you. ;)

People will probably take this the wrong way, but I personally would not want a horde of subs from YTTalk, because it seems like they're more obligated to watch and comment out of either trying to be nice or so you'll return the favor.

I don't think that's only YTTalk but like everywhere.
On my older channels people have commented and liked and subbed and stuff and I returned the favor. I tried to do that for a lot of their videos but they didn't give a crap about me after that.
But the people I met on YTTalk have actually commented on most of my vids and stuff but I guess I won't know peoples' actual intentions

That is definitely fair and I don't take it the wrong way at all. But like Leo said, I'd argue you'd find those types anywhere you go.

I think anyone who has been in the space long enough can tell when someone is being supportive and friendly because they honestly wish you the best versus when they just want you to add to their views and subscribers. And just like the thousands of folks who spam the comment sections of popular videos, I don't see superficial comrades doing too well in the long run.

Heck, I'm subscribed to a few folks here who probably don't even know it. From time to time, when I first sub I might let them know as a way of saying "I like what you're doing. Keep it up!" but I don't want them to "sub4sub" me out of some sense of obligation. I've even had a few "anonymous" subscribers to my channel since I joined YTtalk and nobody made a point to say they did so (thanks to those of you that are out there by the way... truly) which means that there are at least a handful of honest human beings among us who joined this forum for the community.

It's a game of patience and learning small tweaks along the way. In the beginning I tried to figure everything out at once basically got overwhelmed from it and drained. Now I try a new thing ever few batches of vids.

Truth is I should probably do more vids but I do it for my own enjoyment first. Youtube is not a get rich fast scheme guess some people go viral and make a lot but most don't fast or at all even.

Engage those that comment on your vids helps also I find watching and commenting positive things on other peoples vids helps for some odd reason.
