AHHHHHHHH!

People will probably take this the wrong way, but I personally would not want a horde of subs from YTTalk, because it seems like they're more obligated to watch and comment out of either trying to be nice or so you'll return the favor.

I know what you mean and I agree to a certain extent. It depends on the type of content though I think. For a channel like mine, I don't even bother promoting on YTtalk (no vid in sig etc) because, for the most part, YTtalk members are not my target audience and so I am here to discuss video creation, not to find subs. I put a video in my sig a while ago to see and yeah I got a few views, but the audience retention was much much lower than what I was getting from elsewhere (makes sense) so I decided to pull them.

But for channels which are less niche and have more widespread appeal like comedy, music, even some vlog and gaming I suppose, then I think YTtalk is awesome for bringing in some new viewers and even if they don't remain long-term active subs, they will recommend them to others when given the opportunity.

I have checked out quite a few YTalkers' channels and when I like what I see, I make it known and do what I can to spread the word and it's not a case of being over generous because they are YTtalkers but because I genuinely like their content.

Youtube works like a snowball effect, and you're only rolling up the first clumps of snow at the moment! Be patient, this process can take months or years, but it will be worth it once the ball gets rolling and you start to get natural views and subscribers daily.

There is a forum on this site where youutbers can share their videos on, you could try that, most people on this site are helpful
