YT Feature Idea: Link ReDirect

offbeatbryce

I Love YTtalk
Say you have a video that you uploaded and there is a mistake in it. You upload the fixed video and assign a link ReDirect from the old video so that when someone finds the old video and clicks on it you are sent to the fixed version Automatically.

If YT can't do this I wonder if TubeBuddy can.

Can't you already do that via a link shortener of sorts? :/

Or do you mean something like youtu.be?

All you could really do is add a big annotation on your old video that points people to your new video. TubeBuddy could do what you're looking for in theory if EVERYONE on YouTube had TubeBuddy installed. Which is nice but probably not realistic :)

Oh come on Phil, we all know tubebuddy will take over the world.
