Hey!
I thought it would be cool to discuss some problems YouTubers have when starting their career out there.
What were/are yours WORST problems as a YouTuber? How did you struggle with them? Have you solved them?
Let's start with me!
Here's an endless list of problems I had with my YouTube career -
1) uncertainty of genre - I didn't know what certainly I was going to make vids about,
2) editing software - I don't have a personal PC so I had to make vids using KineMaster for some time until.. ok nvm, I use Adobe PP now
- also, many programs just were making me RAGE and want to kill everyone!,
3) uncertainty of segment - for a long time I was questioning: English or Russian (native as for me - I live in Belarus) YouTube? - I also can't pronounce the Russian 'R' well so finally I'm here xD,
4) my Photoshop skills - had to improve them, luckily it wasn't that hard,
5) appearance doubts - we all know we look okay, but everybody probably judges themselves very unsparingly even when they're top models,
6) sound quality - I didn't feel good about recording on the phone until I got a studio microphone, and even now I am worried about the noise even when it can only be heared by cats or what animals hear well?,
7) the strategy - that side of YouTube was not fully clear for me until I read the book 'How To Build Your YouTube Audience' by Tim Schmoyer,
8) video quality - the only thing that still makes me upset and stops from creating - I don't think that my phone's video quality (the claimed 720p) is cool enough nor I don't own a camera yet - I think I won't describe all the problems with it, at least you got what it's all about [emoji14] - asking your friends, not having it constantly with you, collecting money to buy your own and so on
So what was the hardest nut to break for you?
