Youtube view count

Posting Mad!
So this week I have had 2 videos that have gone over 100 views in realtime analytics, one of which has just gone over now, but one says 84 views on video and 85 on the other. I got my wife to view one of the videos on her account to see if it increased but it did not. Any ideas why this might be happening. I am really proud of having 2 videos in a week go over 100 views so would like to display it lol.

Realtime Analytics update in realtime, the view counts and total channel views update after views have been verified. Also, if your wife is watching from the same IP address it doesn't matter if she is logged into a different account.

Does IP really come in to it? I don't think Youtube would be bothered about people watching from the same IP as you could just create a new VPN. Also mobile phones and internet means that most houses have 3-4 seperate internet connections now with new IPs. But no she watched on her phone and it didn't go on.[DOUBLEPOST=1454546433,1454546402][/DOUBLEPOST]
I think it happens to me too, just wait a few hours or a day and it'll get updated :)
One of the videos I posted Saturday night :(

I am having an issue at the moment where my total view count has not updated in around 3 days, I have uploaded videos since that have gained views but the total hasn't changed, don't know why but am hoping it sorts itself out soon.

It can when your views are getting verified, if three different users in your house watched one of your own videos on repeat for 12 hours that's hardly organic traffic. I read into it in depth before the 301+ change, I'm not sure what the verification process is like currently. I'm sure there are thousands of helpful articles out there if you're interested.

But either way, I just meant her view and the your view would both be logged equally (again, barring you having watched the video repeatedly during the day).

I've gone 3-4 days without having views updated previously, it's annoying but it all equals out in the end.

Yeah sorry if I came across dismissive I work in tech and simple things like sites using archaic ways of monitoring things annoys me. I was not view bumping intentionally just wanted to see if it was capable of moving up. Hopefully it does equal out because I have had a really good couple of video counts and want to show off haha. It is deserved too though cause the reason they are high is that I put a lot of effort in to be first out with a couple of things and actually managed it.

YouTube update the view count like weekly. As for my knowledge, YouTube update my statistics weekly, so I would say to be patient until you see the real results.
