YouTube Video that was Seen in Professional Life

I Love YTtalk
Have you ever sent your customers a video of yours? I did today for the first time, this guy was having a bad couple of days so I figured I'd lighten the mood. Crazy thing is now he sees all the weird s**t I've done! Most of the suggested videos are mine including stun gun fun, lol. I think this is the first time I sent a YouTube video to a customer, I normally don't want them to know who I am, but this guy just needed a video to watch so I sent him a link. I'm pretty sure this will not end up negative because I'm pretty awesome so he thinks I'm a really great technician... I just wanted to give him a laugh but he's been in a stressful situation the past couple days... I don't think I made a mistake, but if I p**s this guy off I think he can use my videos against me. So far we are like bros though, so I don't think he'll turn on me. That's the trouble with customer service, you can be screwed by anybody anytime.

Ever hold back from videos from anybody? And WHY!!! You gotta figure you're making videos for the masses...

I've never had a job (really annoying) but I'm sure if i did I would be telling my co-workers. Maybe not TELL them, but, I'm sure they would find out! :D
Other than that, when I was a school a couple years ago they got shared around, which at the time was embarrassing, but I soon embraced it and I poked fun at myself. The same happened in college. And more recently I shared my videos myself with my University friends - they loved it, they were laughing AT me, right next to me, and we were poking fun at each other, but at least they were enjoying themselves. We use it as a running joke now so its great!
They've even shown it in lectures before, god that was awful!!

One of the new managers at my work has videos of her singing really theatrical songs on her YT channel. She's really humorless and serious at work, so everyone was laughing about it when they found it, I guess someone just searched her name, because she would never reveal it lol.

I posted my youtube channel when I applied for a job, and though I diddnt have the necessary experience, the college professors said they loved my channel and subbed lol

I've used my YouTube channel in job applications before... It helps as I'm looking for media/journalism jobs. Mostly they don't really mention it, but I had two job interviews last month and they both full-on asked me about my channel and mentioned some of the videos they'd watched etc. For some reason, I found it a bit awkward haha! But they all liked them and one of them hired me so it's all good :)

Not work per se, but the yoga studio I volunteer at did a little social media profile on me a while ago and included my channel.
Now I have a bunch of yogis coming up to me and saying "You're so DIFFERENT in your videos!"
Pretty hilarious.

The only times I ever tell people about my channel is if they are one of my good friends. I dont tell random people at school.
