Youtube Video Speed?

humm... thats strange. maybe only i can see it. it's in the section where you click the wheel thing at the bottom of the video to change the quality. it pops out with it.

Yeah maybe only you can see it. I've checked it on there but nothing is there, I mean only the quality settings :\

It's not showing up for me either, but I've definitely seen the feature on other videos before

That feature has been there and I had encounters with it in some videos, but I wouldn't know which ones right now.

What does everyone think the reason for this is? Or how it can be used?

I can't think of a video where I think "gee I wish it could have the speed changed"

I'll try to list the ways that we can use it:
1- if someone speaks slow
2- makeup tutorials
3-my time lapses
4- some vlogs if you want to watch them fast. e.g shay tards, the kids and shay can look twice hyper active as they already are!
5- make bolt run twice as fast!
6- it makes funny sound effects by making it fast and slow which makes people replay parts of the video because it can sound funny

Because I am awesome! Haha lol. I actually don't know.
I think it's like how the one channel first came out. First to important people then to random people picked from a list and then soon everyone gets it.

I still don't know why it only works with my latest video. It strangely doesn't work when I view other people's videos

Did anyone here post a video today? Maybe it's people who post today. Or it starts today. Maybe

I did a bit of research and it turns out that the Playback Speed option is only available through the HTML5 player
