YouTube unsubbing people and hiding news feeds

Yes, this has happened to me. A guy subbed me and then the very next day, he wasn't a subscriber anymore. It stinks.
A lot of people mass sub to people hoping for people to sub back. They hit forums like this and sub to everyone. If you don't sub to them they unsub to you or even if you do sub to them they may unsub you anyways. It's for the best though sub4sub isn't the way to go. It's really sad and pathetic seeing someone with over a 1000 subscribers and they get no comments or ratings.

I agree and I learned a lot of that the hard way. I used to sub4sub in the beginning and now I have regular viewers and what I consider dead accounts to me. I have been chipping away at them to get an actual representation of viewers. Basically, if they never comment AND have not logged into youtube in the past 60 days... KILLED!
However, my "show everything" has been f*d up. Sometimes I don't really get everything.

I learned it the hard way as well on my first channel I did last year...I mean I was uploading copy-written s**t though too so we live we learn.

I think this has been recurring problem with Youtube over the years. Certainly not the first time I've heard about it.

I can tell you, without making names, that one of the guys that joined the forum really recently is the biggest sub4subber I have ever seen...
Had never seen anything that extreme

How do you delete subscribers?
It's a chore of a process to do, so make sure you set some time aside. Here are the steps to take:
1. Go to your Youtube Inbox
2. Click "Address Book"
3. Click "Subscribers"
4. This is where it gets long. The list of all your subbers comes up. I usually right click a few of them that seem suspicious to me and open new tabs.
5. Go to each channel on the tabs (1 by 1 obviously) and on the right side of their channel about their "recent activity" is a line that reads: by (channel name) and a little arrow is next to it
6. Click that arrow: 2 choices pop up; 'send a message' or 'block user'
7. Click block user (youtube will ask if you want to confirm the block) click yes
8. close tab and move on to the next channel
9. When you are done go back to your inbox and address book
10. Click "blocked users"
11. Select them all
12. click delete
DONE.
Like i said, this takes a bit of time. I try to do 10-20 at a time.
