Yes I like this idea. I can leave a video playing whilst also Facebook stalking and seeing if anyone has emailed me.
I also tend to want to have a look at eBay or Amazon throughout a video to make purchases.
Oh and when the creator puts links in the description - I guess this is the perfect oppourtunity to click and continue watching.
