YouTube Space

I Love YTtalk
Has anyone been to a YouTube space event or use it for creating? I really would like to. It looks like the requirements are 5000 subscribers which will take me a long time but I think I can get there eventually. If you've been there, how was it? What did you do?
 
Use of the space is 5k (London), but for some events/courses there isn't a subscriber minimum, so you could try that... There isn't a space in my country so I have never been.
 
I've been invited a few times, but they never explain what its all about very well.. Seems like its free recording space and props to me.

oh i see some are 10k, i just looked at the one closest to me was new york city for 5k... maybe LA is just too popular for youtubers to be in so they'd have too many if they didn't up the limit more
 
Never actually heard of this before, it sounds very interesting! A little.. Odd, I guess, I'd feel very awkward filming somewhere I didn't know ect, but 5/10k is a looooooooooong way off for me, so I don't need to worry at all haha!

It does sound interesting, and probably very useful for some people!

That doesn't really make sense lol why is one less than the other?!?!
