YouTube Is Forcing HTML5 & It Doesn't Work For Me

I'm using Internet Explorer 10. Every video has either an exclamation point inside of a circle or a black screen that never starts playing. There is an opt out page linked from the options (when you right click the frozen black screen). I have opted out, but it has done nothing to help. I can't watch a thing from YouTube and I highly doubt that I could upload anything, if I had something ready for upload.

How can I get back to watching videos?
How can I get back to (I believe my default video player was)Flash?
How long will this HTML5 forced trial last?

Honestly if its forced i dont think its a trial anymore, best suggestion is migrate browsers to say Google Chrome, there is an easy way to transfer all your info from IE so that you save your bookmarks and such

Ahhhh so you're the one person still using IE :)

Switch to Chrome or Mozilla bud, then upgrade your computer with a new graphics card :)

HTML5 isn't a trial, I'm afraid. It's been years in the making, and provides so many improvements that people aren't coming back from it.

IE 9 and up is supposed to support H264, so it's probably not an issue with your version of IE, but rather an issue with your machine/codecs/etc.

I'd recommend reinstalling IE, and seeing if you continue to have issues. Of course, no promises. IE support tends to be pretty abysmal.[DOUBLEPOST=1373352958,1373352915][/DOUBLEPOST]Alternatively, you can downgrade to IE9, and use Chrome frame: http://www.google.com/chromeframe?prefersystemlevel=true

All I can suggest here is switch to Chrome, or at least Firefox. IE is a horrible, massively incompatible browser. I've never liked it!

And it will last forever, they've been slowly moving it in for a while. So until a viable alternative is created, that's your lot.

this has to be a troll thread .... there is no way people still use internet explorer ... *MINDBLOWN*

35% of internet web surfing is on IE !
So it's an issue if Html5 does not work !

I'm using chrome and when youtube try to force used HTML 5 I switch to Safari... Those new player won't load the video for me...
