YouTube is a Cycle?

Beanbag

I Love YTtalk
I have noticed something over the last few weeks that has made me chuckle a little,

It seems that as soon as the old generation of YouTubers grow up and move on from the internet, the next generation roll in with the same content that got the last gen famous? Channels like ToyDinosaaurz or DontPlayWithScissorz are the ones I have noticed lately, just by uploading content here and there that is amazing, instead of spamming there subscribers news feeds is starting to pay off.

So, It has got the question in the back of my mind.. Is YouTube A Cycle? Out with the old, in with the new?

Yes and no.

People try to find inspiration in other, bigger channels and want to become big themselves some day. And they will if they keep having fun.

But I wouldn't say they were "replacing" anyone. I would not call it a "cycle".

I would just simply call it "people with same interest in making videos in this category".

Or something like that. :p

Kind of. The ones hogging the major spotlight are the ones who have been doing it the longest. But slightly large YouTubers (like the 200-300k club) do come in waves and die out gradually :)

TheSyndicateProject, The Zombie Legend! Is now playing Sims 3! Because he has done everything haha

no... I hav`nt noticed that at all... the people from 2006-1008 are the biggest, channels like smosh, rwj , nighiga are still bringing out videos weekly / every few days...

The only person I`ve seen really slow down is BlameTruth who was one of the first Machinima Partners/Directors he has started only uploading every week or more, but he still isn`t getting much success...

We will never die... Nor will we fade away.. We will rock the casaba throughout eternity.

Apart from PewDiePie, Syndicate , I remember both of them with less than 10k subs in 2011.

I think it's a yes and a no! The truth is YouTube so big now, that no matter where you look somewhere you will find the same kind of content...
Nothing is really new on YouTube only the way it's put over and that's never going to change...
