YouTube, Help Us Small Channels

Maybe we see in 10 years time(not in 5 years) to see if it does actually happen or not............

Even if Youtube do this and get rid of small Youtubers, As i said There will be millions of Small Youtubers(including myself) will be very p****d/mad and disappointed that there videos all there hard/effort putted into there videos/channels will be gone and all there hard work will be nothing at the end which is terrible and sad! :( :(

It is sad, like I said they are squeezing small channels out quietly by taking away the ways that people who knew how to build channels did it. They didnt take those things away for any other reason than that they were the ways that small channels built huge followings. I worked with a channel that was making $4-$5k a month that youtube contacted saying they wanted to work with them. The channel owner said no to youtube and the very next month their views dropped to where they made under $300 and their channel has never recovered. I built channels for people that were nobodies who have become professional singers and actors for major labels and Disney.
They have stopped me doing that  :( :banghead: :( So now I have to find new ways.... and I will. ;):bounce:;)

The only thing YouTube is doing is making it a commitment to start a channel, reserving perks like custom channel name for the ones that grow beyond a certain level. They weed out the ones that just want to do it for money and their internet genitalia and preserve the ones that do it for the art.

There is NO way YouTube will close access to their service. It is a talent pool. And when the next talent steps up, they are again in the green. And you can't have that talent if you stop people from signing up, or close smaller accounts.

They have made these changes for a reason - If you're not going to be a profitable addition to their website, why should they waste their time and money on someone who isn't dedicated to their videos?

I just returned from a 9 month break, and guess what? I uploaded one video and my audience retention basically returned over night.

YouTube doesn't control your growth, you do. They could have a massive banner with your channel on it, but if your content is s**t, why would anyone subscribe?[DOUBLEPOST=1424656979,1424656954][/DOUBLEPOST]Basically; if you want to grow as a YouTuber and have massive success and quick growth; be good at what you do and prove it in every video.

As previous posters on this thread said, its true youtube is there to make money but it would be pretty awesome to get some exposure ;) Also what would be the "Line" Between "Quality Content" and bad random crap you find
My thoughts :D

I think that would be cool. But like what people have said already since YouTube is a buisness they want to promote the channels that make them more money. I think if a smaller channel wants to get bigger they can work hard enough long enough they will get bigger. Some channels I love that are smaller don't really utilize social media how they should be. Or they probably don't even use forums like this which actually help alot.

I do find it frustrating, that even when I type my exact title into the search, pages of other less relevant options come up. I don't seem to be going up I don't really understand how to. I understand its a business but maybe they could have programs for newbies

When I clicked on your channel, youtube says it doesnt exist, that could be why your videos arent coming up in searches. Is your channel public?
