Youtube Has Us All By The Balls!

YT search does seem pretty borked atm for sure. Is it just me or are there a lot more playlists than usual showing up in the search results?

For the changing title thing though - changes to titles and descriptions have always taken a few days to be updated. No change there IMHO. We can't expect YT to instantly crawl our videos and update them in the search as soon as someone changes a few words around.

I can say with 100 percent certainty that at least in my case you're wrong. It has NEVER taken a few days for it to update my title or description. Usually no more than a few mins. Only recently has it taken that long.

YouTube must heed to our every desire in a matter of minutes, sir! ;)

I wish YouTube would fix these problems, instead of changing the logo of the monetized icon and making the site just look different every flippin' five minutes -__-

Yeah, what exactly was the point of changing the monetized logo icon? Not that I care but It just seemed rather pointless. I don't want yt fixing anything that isn't broken because we know how that usually ends up.

Yeah, cause at YouTube programmers are doing the graphic design work...

I mean that YouTube could get their priorities right instead of small, unnecessary things. I'd rather have the few graphical issues fixed on large monitors (for example) than have a dollar sign that's slightly greener. Oh YouTube...

I've not had any problems with YouTube myself. If anything, it's my internet connection that is messing up my enjoyment of TotalBiscuit's videos, which I will not allow to happen any longer. I will go on a rampage sooner rather than later.

Yeah, YouTube can be slow with some stuff, but it is a huge place. I don't mind waiting a day or two for updates and whatnot. As long as it doesn't eat my channel by accident. :P

I guess the closet thing to "competition" for YouTube would be Dailymotion, which even then is really not even close to matching YouTube's star power.

I'll still heated they took away video responses. Youtube's way of doing things is "If it works, let's fix it and be innovative" but they are actually making things worse.

To solve your search results issue - private your video for a minute then publicize it, if that doesn't work just do it a few times. It's always fixed the issue for me. I heard Amazon was thinking of starting a YouTube type site, I wonder how that would go.[DOUBLEPOST=1382784030,1382783985][/DOUBLEPOST]

The clickthrough rate was like 0.00004% or something, so the video response concept was good, but other than small channels, it didn't really help. I want that new video response replacement they were talking about.

Well, some videos aren't showing on my sub box. I'm not sure if I'm too blind to see it. But hey, I won't leave YouTube unless it's dead.
