There are a shocking number of people who suffer from too much self-esteem and who don't understand why they're not famous within 2 hours of uploading their first video, but I also think there are just as many people on YT who are the exact opposite, trying to boost their low self-esteem by getting attention from viewers. If only that would work.

Yep, if you're dependent on a constant stream of praise then every bad comment and every dislike will hit you so hard.
