YouTube e-mail settings

Ever since I merged my account with google+ I have no idea how to change my YouTube e-mail settings. What I am talking about is how you can get e-mails when someone comments on a video, and subscribes to my channel. If anyone knows please tell me, but make sure you actually try this yourself before telling me, because they keep changing how do things. Thanks.

Hi, this is how to do it if you have a G+ page (as a post to a "profile"):

-On your G+ page, click on the drop down box top left and select "settings" (at the bottom)
-Scroll down to the "receive notifications" section and expand / edit the sub-sections that you want.

Your 1.jpg is specifically about notifiying you if someone comments on one of your YT vids

@Crown Yeah but it says "shares or comments your content across the web" I don't want notifications if someone shares my blog post.

Isn't there one that says "comments on your YouTube videos" ugggh. Google is not making this easy on me.

Also what about a notification if someone subscribes to your youtube channel and nothing else. Just if someone subscribes.

I don't like google combining all the notifications, it is confusing and there needs to be settings just for youtube, so there aren't all combined.

I know I went there first. But the problem is you can check those boxes, but once you link your account with goggle+ you can't check the boxes, try it on your own account, you will see what I mean.

I can check and uncheck them no problem. (I have just tried) Maybe your G+ account isn't properly linked to your YT channel? Sorry I am not sure why you can't check them

hmm. I have a different Youtube accounts the ones not linked with g+ work and one of them linked with g+ does work. Let me try my other accounts linked with g+ and see what happens.[DOUBLEPOST=1406915930,1406915395][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh!! I figured it out. So all of my YouTube accounts I have that are connected with google plus use the same e-mail, so I have to go to the account that is associated with the e-mail (which doesn't have a YouTube channel). So that means I have to have the same account settings for all four of accounts associated with that e-mail. Wow. That was confusing. But I figured it out.
The very first account in the picture the one that has a blue profile picture is that one that I have to use for e-mail settings. Maybe this will be helpful to someone else with the same problem.
