YouTube Drama

Posting Mad!
Hi Guys,

Not really sure why I wanted to do this just thought it would be interesting...

So.... Hey..... what do you all think of this YouTube drama at the moment. And if you don't know, then you just should quit now... like how do you not know this! but yeah Logan Paul.... what's everyone's thoughts.
Obviously following guidelines to these forums etc but seriously do you think he should have not uploaded the video or if he did re-edit it so it wasn't as bad?

Look forward to hearing from you

I really could not care less about it and I question why anyone would give it more than 10 seconds of their attention.. If you are a subscriber to his channel and you feel the need to be outraged by what he did, unsubscribe. If you are a subscriber and support what he did/dont care, then post a comment on his channel to let him know or just ignore it.. If you are not a subscriber, why would you care?
End of story..

I personally thought what he shown was disrespectful to the victim/family. I didn't find it offensive as much as I found it disgusting. I know I have been called a "snowflake" and "weak" because I expressed disgust with the video. What I have been saying is how would you enjoy if somebody found one of your family members dead and made a video about it, you wouldn't like it.

Just my opinion and I am not trying to sway anyone's opinion either. Not a fan of the Paul brothers to begin with so I might be a little bias.

Completely agree with you, both brothers are as bad as each other

In general youtube drama is stupid as all hell.

If you have a fight with someone you should just keep it under wraps and sort out your differences, or cut ties with the creator/creators that you are having issues with. We have had 'drama' with about 3 content creators in our time on youtube and never turned it into drama, Drama can be fun but it just encourages people to do Sh*tty Things.

And with this Logan Paul situation he went too far.

It's disgusting and downright disrespectful to the poor man that took his life and his family that have to deal with the media constantly drawing attention to it, because some spoilt narcissist brat made a tasteless video.

Well this is what I left on Christian Delgrosso's video talking about Logan Paul since he knew him personally:

I’m very glad you made this video. 1) For showing all of those defending Logan’s actions that they are wrong, and 2) truly showing what the real meaning of YouTube is.
When people go into it with an ulterior motive, they never tend to get that far. And it’s good now because people need to realise in order to really succeed on YouTube and to touch lives of others who share the same interests as you, it has to be 100% heart and passion.

So thank you for sharing this and reminding us all that the rewards aren’t all they are meant to be. The process is more important than the product, because the process changes our lives.

And if we can truly use YouTube to share our passions and inspire the world like you said in the video, I think that in the long run, we may just be okay.

I have no idea why people are so infatuated with YouTube drama. YT drama in general is usually petty and stupid. I believe most are publicity stunts to gain more followers and recognition. I do think though that some of the recent drama scandals have been more than just petty BS (Peter Monn being falsely accused of being a predator by John Kuckian & The Logan Paul situation). The only reason why I even care about the PM & JK situation is because I love Peter Monn.

To get back to your main question, Logan Paul is 22 years old, he knows what he is doing and he knew full well that this "opportunity" was going to get him tons of view and money (despite talking about demonetizing the video because everyone with a brain knows the Paul Brothers are just in this for the money). I think it was disgusting, inappropriate and evident that he used poor judgement. It is one thing to go there and film it, since he films his daily life (not even sure why kids even enjoy watching him destroy things daily) but to go back and review the footage and actually include that part in his video is horrible. No normal human being with feelings and emotion would do such a thing. He lacks empathy and only cares about himself and money. I am glad what he did has caused him to take a break to reflect upon his actions and understand that he is a grown man and should start acting like one. His career should be over after this, it likely won't be because these little kids still seem to idolize him.

YouTube kisses his a** because he makes them a ton of money, but at the end of the day, YouTube makes FAR MORE off all of the other creators with subscribers in the multi-millions that losing Logan Paul (and even Jake Paul) would be like losing a few hundred dollars to them.

Wow, sorry for the novel, I just wanted to share my thoughts on this.

I try not to follow or get invested in Youtube Drama because honestly it disgusts me. Usually it's just people bashing one another and it's disturbing. If I wanted drama I'd go find the appropriate people to get some from.

But to answer your question Logan Paul and his brother are not the best of people. I know everyone is jumping the train to bash Logan to help their fan base grow more too. But to me it's just best if we leave it behind and not get too invested in something that's already happened. It is not like Youtube is going to terminate his channel or anything. They enjoy making money off of him. Just look what happened to Pewdiepie. One day people hate him but yet they are still there and making a good profit. Nothing won't ever change as long as the cow keeps providing the milk.

PS. The only drama that made me upset was happened between Jirard (The Completionist) and his old partner Greg. Their separation caused over 100+ videos to be deleted from the channel and that was pretty sad. But Jirard handled it perfectly. Only a couple of videos over the topic, not too much information and focused on just the positives out of the negatives. Something we could learn from. =]

I think it was quite disgusting honestly and in very bad taste. I think that would have been different however if it was done in a more respectful manner.... I.e. No laughing and acting like an absolute muppet in front of the deceased body, instead it might have been a positive thing if it was filmed as a suicide awareness style video as it is a massive problem, especially for males for some reason. And the body should have been completely blurred too. Logan Paul certainly isn't the person to do it, but I think if it was someone more mature who made a video of that nature, it could be a positive thing. Though I'm sure that probably warrants a debate.
