YouTube Custom Thumbnails Constantly Making Me "Try Again"

Does anyone else have problems uploading custom thumbnails to your videos?

I don't know if it's because my channel is relatively new, or what. I almost always get a "try again" message.

I have only been lucky with it a couple times but usually it takes a while if not ever.

Please tell me I'm not alone!

(BTW I have 50Down/10Up so I doubt it has to do with my internet connection)

the file size is most likely to big, I know this happens when I upload a large picture for my SFM stuff, just upload the file to like imgur.com and then save it from there (delete the picture from the site afterwards using their removal link) and then try uploading it. That works for me

Hmm, I guess it could be. I'll try lowering the quality of the image next time. I think YouTube should still notify if the file size is too large instead of a "try again". Plus the thumbnails I use are still within the dimensions allowed.

Unfortunately it does not notify. The file must be under 2 (or 2.5 Mbytes).

I always make my thumbnails JPEG or PNG's set at 1080x1920 pixels and it works 100% of the time.

I just noticed my thumbnails are 1366x768 since I usually prnt scrn a frame while viewing it full screen (instead of getting a snap straight out of the editing software) That must be it!
My bad, thanks for clearing it up <3
