YouTube have been working on some exciting new features for us all with integrated crowd funding, monetization changes to help you increase the amount of money you make on YouTube and a mobile app for video creators which many of us have been aching for as the current YouTube app doesn't have all the features creators want.
Here's an interesting video from the discussing some of the projects that YouTube are working on to make YouTube even better now and in the future.

What the hell is crowd funding in layman's terms anyway?[DOUBLEPOST=1400810513,1400810395][/DOUBLEPOST]I wish they'd bring back the ability to delete more than one video from favorites and playlists at the same time, rather than that ridiculous "x" thing! It takes too damn long! Just sayin'.
Was gonna post this but wasn't sure if anyone already had. I think this is a good step forward for YouTube, I see only benefits from all the new features they listed and none of them conflict with the way any of us currently run our channels so to me that's a definite +.
Crowdfunding intergrated into YouTube is great, no more having to use 3rd party sites.
The creator academy is crummy, I spent 10-15mins in the most recent 1 and all I could notice is that it was a really cheap, cheap way for them to advertise bigger YouTubers.
Fan closed captions are great too but I asked them on the vid if there was a way to approve them, I hope there's measures in place to prevent trolling, especially if you have captions in languages you're not familiar with.
The SFX in teh audio library are a welcome feature. I use tonnes of music and SFX in most of my videos on both channels now, eager to see what SFX YouTube provide even though I've found generally most of what I want from other sites.
I'm also liking the idea of them telling us before they update stuff, I mean that should have pretty much been a given for any company though, but it's a step forward in what recently has been many steps backwards for YouTube.

Hot Wheels collectors are cheap! They want everything for $1. I'm looking to do a paid-premium channel for $3.99. The people who pay for that also get regular RG content ad-free. The tip jar doesn't make sense for my content because my costs are low.
