YouTube Community Guidelines Strike

TheGamingInc

I've Got It
I can't believe it. I haven't had any strike for a long time. Now, someone decided to flag my video and YouTube decided to follow his/her lead. I already appeal for the video and if I'm not wrong, I should win it. I remember that the tags were relevant to the video, so as the description and the title. So, why? When I saw the strike it says that YouTube will also notify me trough email. Where is it? Are they playing with me. Someone flag my video, I haven'tr receive any email regarding this problem, and I don't know why it happened.

"If you receive a Community Guidelines strike, you’ll receive a notification via email and in your Channel Settings with information about why your content was removed (e.g. for sexual content or violence). If you feel that a video was removed without just cause, you can appeal the strike on your account."

That is what YouTube says if I receive a community strike.
The question is, where is that email that they send me? Where is that information about my content that had it remove? Nothing is showing up and this looks like a joke.

Your case is one of those very complicated cases, where YouTube doesn't respond......I am gonna try to help ya out....

You didnt Mistag the vids.......as you say... so thats not the problem
Maybe you had some inappropriate content?
Tell me anything that you did what might've been wrong..................
Maybe you made a gameplay of a game that doesn't allow monetization of its gameplay?
You can tell us..........i dont think anyone here will do anything.....
You have an amazing 20,000 subscribers.......those are all legit subs? if not, that might've caused trouble.....

You could only wait for YouTube response........i think this is definitely not a joke...................We could only try to guess the problem.....not solve it........try checking you SPAM folder? sometimes YouTubes mails go there.......................

1) I didn't have inappropriate content. It only had some short gameplay footage of some video games. I was comparing them. Also, the copyright says that the community flag my video because of spam!
2) It had a fair title, fair tags relevant to the video, so as the description. Nothing else.
3) The video has been up from NOV 2013. It was monetized since that day. If monetization was the problem, the video would be copyrighted and not flagged.
4) Yes, they are legit. I'm not using any hack or bot. My channel is doing really good this year. Since the strike is from the community, I bet someone decided to flag the video because of hate or jealousy, as I have received many comments about it in the past.

Still says the same thing.

"The YouTube Community has flagged one or more of your videos as inappropriate. Once a video is flagged, it is reviewed by the YouTube Team against our Community Guidelines. Upon review, we have determined that the following video(s) contain content in violation of these guidelines, and have been disabled:

  • "Xbox One vs PlayStation 4 - Exclusives" (
    )
Everyone hates spam. Misleading descriptions, tags, titles or thumbnails designed to increase views are not allowed. It's also not okay to post large amounts of untargeted, unwanted or repetitive content, including comments and private messages."[DOUBLEPOST=1418408599][/DOUBLEPOST]I just received an email saying that the appeal was rejected. Now, I can't do anything. I wish I knew who flag the video. Now I'll have to wait 6 freaking months.

Youtube should've atleast told you exactly what had caused the problem.................It is totally unbelievable...............
Maybe you had reviewed the xbox and ps4 in your video, and somehow one of the console makers got angry and decided to report your video........this is a stupid assumption of mine cause as far as i know , this isn't illegal.........

For the next 6 months you wont earn any money from your vids? isn't this outrageous? they should've atleast taken the time to tell you exactly your fault.........YouTube can be really unfair sometimes..........

BTW, are you partnered with some network?..
they could help you out..............

I don't think it was any of the consoles or game company. The strike is a community guidelines strike, which means that it got flag by some viewers who found the video a SPAM.
Yes, you can keep earning money and yes I am with a network.

Were the games super new, like recently released? Some game companies don't like it when you spoil their games. I heard there were a lot of copyright claims and whatnot when Tomb Raider just came out and people were posting gameplays. Now that's a few years old, no one seems to have trouble with it anymore.

If you are with a network then its best you ask their support what was the problem........I am sure they will be able to help you.............:) ........

Its nice you can still earn money, i thought they stopped you from further monetization of videos, but i guess i was wrong :D ......So a copyright strike isn't that bad after all.................:bounce:
