every time I try to make a youtube banner it looks weird, I use the right size, but still only half of the benner shows up on youtube.com... HELP, ANYONE?

You could have your YouTube browser zoomed in to like 125% or something instead of the usual 100% so it's not at it's real ratio. I usually zoom in because I'm blind as a bat and you can't see half the banner but for normal computers, they can!

Canva.com has some great templates for branding on all the social media platforms. Pretty easy to use and free as well!

I just googled a YouTube banner template, edited it and it worked fine, is that something you have tried?

Looks like you have it working now? The banner you have now looks proportionally fine.
