When one overtakes the one before it in views how long does it take before they switch places?

My popular upload is Niko Stole A Formula 1 car and the rest isn't even close. The Formula 1 video get's half of my daily views per day so I don't think anything will ever overtake it.

what i meant was i have one thats in like 6th place but it over took number 5 like 4 days ago but they have not changed places on th elist

Oh thought you wanted to know how long other people popular uploads took over number 1. It will take some time I think. It doesn't refresh with the sec sometimes it will days.

I had one more popular for about a week before the most popular tab updated

Never really noticed, but I'm pretty sure mine happened instantly when one took over first place.
