Working on Thumbnails, Any Help?

So we currently have a Minecraft let's play as some of you know, and I have been working hard at getting a good thumbnail but I feel like I'm not going anywhere. I have 3 completed ones atm and I was wondering which one you guys liked the best, or if you don't like any of them.

I'm sorry but none of those would look good on thumbnail size. I'd barely be able to read the text.
Why not make the text bigger and give it more nice effects while you're at it?

Also, you don't have to put the episode title in the thumbnail. That's what the video title is for. Give space for the more important things, like the title and the episode number.

I attached one of my thumbnails from my gaming channel. I feel like you are trying to hard with the thumbnails, something simple with just the episode number, and minecraft logo should work just fine.

When I look at your logo I see what you're saying, but you do have a very creative image behind your text. I really do not know how to make an image like that.

I personally don't like any of them, sorry. They don't catch my eye and look very amateurish. If I saw them in my feed, I'd continue scrolling and not click on it.

Find a nice image of Minecraft. If you're playing a map, take a screenshot of something. Make this the entire size of the thumbnail. No weird borders like the first one.

Loose the animated players. It looks very cheesy, and amateur.

Use a more fun font. Don't use basic fonts.

Make your fonts stand out by giving them outlines, gradients, shadows, etc.

Make your text larger.

You don't need to include everything in the thumbnail. Just simply put the name of the game, map your playing or whatever, and episode number. You don't need to out the name of the episode. Make your episode numbers medium sized, and in a corner of the thumbnail.

Keep a very clean look. Don't use a bunch of random colors on your fonts, etc. simply white works just fine.

It'd be easier for people to follow the episodes if you just stick to one thumbnail style and just edit the episode number.
At least that's how I look at it.

I was thinking the same thing, and it would be a little easier on me too. I've just seen a few series that have a video specific thumbnail every time.
