When did you do this? When I asked TGN to do so all I got back was this:
"I spoke with my manager about the verification badges. They can no longer be obtained through youtube. You can become verified on Google+ and then that verification will show up on your youtube account that is linked with google+. The process is done different now and requires you to own a website that is verified. Because of the changes to the verification system we are no longer involved in the process."

So supposedly that shouldn't be an alternative. I'm questioning them about it right now though, awaiting reply.[DOUBLEPOST=1387924049,1387899413][/DOUBLEPOST]

They responded:
"Thanks for contacting us. Unfortunately due to the volume of requests for verification of channel names YouTube has now stopped accepting applications. So currently it would not be possible to do this, if this changes in future we will let you know."

But that makes no sense since @uberdanger was verified like a week ago?
lolololol tgn xDDD

Yeah, TGN... I'm increasingly regretting going with them. They've been very good so far though, aside from this giant hickup... It's pretty confusing.

And I dunno, I guess either I deal with it or I keep pressuring them.
I can't back out of TGN now either, I signed a 2-year contract. Ironic that they start becoming worse around the same time I do...

LOL, talk about some qualified support right there.

YouTube stopped allowing form submissions for Google+ verification about 3-4 months ago but again a network can verify an established channel if they can be bothered (they obviously don't want to bother to ask BBTV directly and just give you a copy/paste answer). A shame that you signed a 2 year contract at your size, you could've gotten less than a year easily elsewhere. :/

If you were less than 18 years old when signing, you can totally back out.
I've found a loophole, PM me if you were under 18 when signing.
source: this is how I got out of my 2 year fullscreen contract.

Sadly I wasn't when I signed this contract. I was on a regular 30-day contract before, but they approached me in September with this new one and they lured me in. I turned 18 in May this year. I did sign the original contract in March, though, but I doubt that would work.

Yeah, I messaged them again and added that it doesn't make sense, for the reasons you stated and brought up Uberdanger as an example. I might step outside of the support and just contact BBTV directly myself, to be honest.

And also, I signed this contract back when I had around 10,000 subs, so it seemed like a good deal at the time. I've been approached by others recently, like Channelflip. I really badly want to pull out of what I signed now but... blergh, legality and the sorts.

Ah I see. Another reason why anyone shouldn't agree to long terms, you grew 80k subs since and are stuck which sucks.

Good luck!

As long as you were 18 when you signed, you can get out. PM me.
