Why do you watch VLOGS?

I've never really understood why people watch vlogs. I mean, I have enough going on in my own life. Why do I want to watch someone else's? This is an honest question because all I can think when I see a vlog is "who cares?" I try to put those thoughts aside and just be like "well, I don't get it, but lots of other people do so I guess it's just me being a dingus". I saw a video called "Father's Day VLOG!!" and I'm just wondering why I care about a total stranger's Father's Day experience. I have my own father. Maybe this is just a rant lol.
 
Some people are just nosy / curious about how other people live their lives I guess. Same reason people read gossip magazines & watch reality TV. I get what you mean though. - No time or interest for that myself.
 
Lmao I don't know. I guess it's sort of interesting to watch. I remember I was big on watching vlogs but after a while I stopped. Now and days if I do watch vlogs it's more of the higher quality vloggers or youtubers who are known for more than vlogs but do it occasionally. Then there's the occasional family that I just find funny or interesting.
 
For me, it can be a few things:
  1. I really like the people, so I'll watch whatever they choose to do
  2. I really like the things the people are doing, like travel vlogs
  3. I really like the style of vlog, like comedy or really great technical work
"Vlogs" is such a large category that it can basically cover anything that doesn't particularly have a script and is uploaded regularly, so I guess it depends on what type of vlogs everybody thinks of when we hear the word.

I'm watching vlog because:

1) The video is quite entertain me.

2) My curiousity about another people dailylife.

3) Music!! Because my channel niche about vlog & lifestyle music!! [emoji16]
 
I guess because some peoples vlogs are so entertaining its better than TV. I really like to watch travel vlogs as it gives you ideas on where to go on your next adventure. I also like to watch Casey Neistat cause he's just funny and interesting.
