Approved Research Why do you watch educational YouTube videos?

I personally feel like you can never stop learning. No matter what the topic. I do video game reviews and every now and then I get presented with a game that teaches me something new about my perspectives on genre's.

When talking about science, I just feel like there's a lot of things that everyone can learn about. Some things are awesome and other things aren't. Either way it's nice to learn some bits of trivia. Never know when it might be useful c:

Well I think it's more than saying knowledge is powerful. Like yourself, I am subscribed to many of these channels, and I watch them on a regular basis. I watch them because we live in the age of information (and for my enjoyment); information can be easily accessed for free on the internet. This opportunity to learn ample information is such a valuable thing that I cannot help but binge these educational videos. Also, it makes traditional classrooms obsolete. I don't know if you're aware, but actual professors from renowned colleges (Berkeley, Irvine, Stanford, MIT, etc.) upload their lectures on the internet! Although, I am not in college yet, I will take these internet lectures over the actual lectures because I have the ability to re-watch, get cozy, and learn at my own speed by watching the lecture at home. I guess I'm a nerd.
