Why Do People Make Bad YouTube Channels?

I've noticed lately that there are a lot of YouTube channels that really just clogged up YouTube with extremely low quality videos that suck. I'm not entirely sure what makes people ignorant to their bad content, they just keep making bad videos knowing why their videos are bad, but they make no attempt to improve it.

I just don't quite understand why people do this, could anyone give me their opinion on this?

Disclaimer: I am not bashing channels saying they should stop! I'm merely asking why people think they don't want to improve their videos. I had to change this because people kept leaving hateful comments saying I shouldn't be bashing.

Everyone has some crappy videos, sometimes it just doesn't seem crappy at that point in time, like looking at things you wrote in the past won't be as good as you can now (hopefully)

What about the people that make bad content and never change? I actually have an example of that, if you'd like me to show you.[DOUBLEPOST=1374039504,1374039477][/DOUBLEPOST]
It's possibly the Dunning-Kruger Effect: They don't know how to do better so they don't realise how bad they are. Google it ;)

Can it really be that hard to learn how to do better, though?

There's this one guy I used to know, 1177aj. He's been making videos for 3 years, and never improved his content very much at all. His camera was always waving all around, his audio wasn't good, and he had bad editing.

I asked him to improve his content any way he can, but he never did it. I basically stopped talking to him because he was being a total d**k about everything, but he's a perfect example of what I mean.

I don't remember the name but on one channel there was one old granny who kept on coughing till the end for 25 seconds and the vlog was 0:56 long
All she did was saying Hi! and I love youtube and this is my first vlog in 144p and

"THE END!!!" <-- which itself was 5-8 seconds long

If your not going to make a effort, don't be on YouTube. That is my opinion.

That's how I feel about most people, too.[DOUBLEPOST=1374039809,1374039788][/DOUBLEPOST]

I don't even know ._.

well i dunno if they are aware if the videos are crappy or not..often people just start cause they want to... normally they are open to feed back..but then there are those jerks who think they are the best and question why they never get any views or anything..problem with those people is that they are not open to any feed back at all and just don't see the point to improve!..i am annoyed with those people too

sometimes it's also how a person sees a video...some people might thing my content sucks others might think it's the best thing ever. personally i think Smosh makes terrible videos..but who the hell cares what i think? they are one of the biggest youtube personality's on the site and millions of people think so... ya know what i mean?
