Why are my comments not showing up for others?

You are probably under fire from the youtube algorithm for either posting alot of links (to your channel/video for example) or just for spamming similar comments like "check out my channel" "please watch my new video" etc. You said you advertise your channel through comments (which isnt a great idea, try reddit instead) and you are porbably right now something called "shadowbanned". Which means you don´t know/get message if it happens, but right now all your comments need to be approved by the creator, even if they don´t include filtered words.
I had some comments on my channel that had no advertising in it but were still considered spam (aka i, the creator, needs to approve them before they are visible) because these people were shadowbanned.

I don´t know it that just fades away or something. Just start writing non-advertisional comments on smaller channels that will actually bother aproving your comments, so the algorithm will see that your comments get aproved again -> they arent spam.

And then stop stamming. Use reddit, twitter, stumbleupon or other sources of getting you out there, maybe buy some google ads for your channel for 5 bucks, spamming will get you nothing but banning, blocking and dislikes.
I see you've mentioned, stumbleupon, reddit etc. got any tips on stumbleupon or any other sites like that?

Hey,

So I've started advertising my channel under other people's comments. I know it's bad, but it's the only way to get noticed nowadays..

After a few comments I started noticing they don't show up anymore for other people (I checked with my other account). Does Youtube have some kind of limit, or what gets my comments blocked?
Goes to spam automatically, good thing to. You would gain a lot of hate from fans if they saw

Well for reddit, just post in subreddits that are relevant to your video. With stumbleupon i don´t have very much success, so i can´t tell you anything aside from just use it and hope it blows up.
Twitter and facebook is quite obvious. Other sharing options i don´t use, reddit alone pulls in 70% of my views.

If YouTube thinks you're a spammer then all your comments will be sent to spam permanently from that point on. That's why stuff like advertising, asking for sub4sub etc is always a bad idea, because it sounds like you've earned yourself a place on that list - meaning no-one will see your comments anywhere unless the person making the video first goes to their spam section and approves the comments manually.

I have a few subscribers on my channel who every time they comment it goes to spam, even though the comments they're making on my channel aren't spam. They basically got flagged for spamming at some point and now it affects every comment they post.

Uh-oh, your account is probably flagged in the sense that all comments now will need to be approved by the channel before they are shown.

There's loads of useful threads in this forum that provides lots of info on how to grow your channel with spamming people's videos, sub4sub etc.

The trouble with sub4sub/spamming comments is people might subscribe to you but they won't engage or watch your content so although you may end up with a lot of subscribers, your view counts and interaction will be low...but I guess it depends on what you want from YouTube and your channel.

I had a guy comment on all my videos today asking people to subscribe to him. I banned him from commenting on my channel instantly. I did get a few dislikes out of that, but it was worth it :)
