I'm trying to figure out whether I should put all my content on this channel or make another channel for content that are in different categories.

Is it fine to do this or would you suggest creating another channel? I would like to hear ya'll's thoughts on this.

I'd like it if you vote, and reply with your insights. Thank you!! c:

I've moved this to the strategy/technique advice forum. The YTtalk support/suggestions forum is for specific questions and comments about the forum, not YouTube-related questions. The staff at YTtalk are not YouTube employees. ^^

I would focus on a specific niche. However, if you're convinced that the people subscribing to you, are subscribing for you, your life and your personality, you could put whatever you'd like as it's your channel. But seen from a perspective of wanting growth, I'd definitely keep it to a niche and not upload too varied content.

In my opinion it depends....just for an example if you declared your channel as a tech channel & then you making video mixed gaming-techs I thing that not going to be working. So if you thinking about making videos about two different category I would be a good idea to make two different channel or if you want you can have a subtitle for your channel like "Techs,Gaming" etc.Like my channel subtitle stand for "Tutorials,Tips & Tricks,Techs".So I don't need two separate channel for making tech & Howto videos. So it depends.

Hope that info helps :)

Would me being a really small channel effect your answers? Or do you guys think that Even as a small channel your answer would still be the same?

we are a small channel with massively varied content, we have no intention of splitting it up yet as we have both agreed it would take our focus off the channel and perhaps lead to poor planning and forgetting to keep playlists up to date, also we have fun so like the idea of our subscribers getting to know us, but our experience is very limited, and it may well be that we are small and will stay small because of this!

Without a doubt multiple channels if you're doing such different things. People want to subscribe to your channel for what they like specifically, and if that subject is cluttered by other subjects they don't like, it's very easy for them to say "no thanks".

Having several channels means you can give several specific groups of people what they want, which in the end is going to help you connect better with your audience.

Separate channels for different topics, definitely. It's the best way to channel in on your audience and promote to them specifically
