Which editing program should I use?

I would really like to know the best editing program there is to use so I can better our content on this channel. We all use Song Vegas Pro 11 but I was just wondering if there was better. I would also love some editing tips if you guys have any:)
 
IMO It's pretty much a toss up between Adobe Premier and Final Cut Pro. They both have pros and cons, but both do an excellent job once you learn how to use them.
My editing tip: Never let your levels hit the red.
 
I'm an adobe fanboy :p I own the whole CC suite and Premiere Pro will do all the editing you need along with color correction and adding texts and transitions. If you need more complicated things done like some heavy compositing then you can use Adobe After Effects along with Premiere Pro they're backwards compatible together you can switch between while editing and see the results on fly.
 
Adobe Premiere is lit on editing in every aspect. Although I knew Adobe Premiere is best, I still use Sony Vegas 14.0 because I feel comfortable editing with it :bounce:
