Which camera?

Kristen Is Calm

I don't caaaaaaare!
So I'm "trying" to save up for a super awesome camera but I'm too lazy to really compare them. Which Canon camera in your opinion would be the best or even give like a top 5?

I always see vloggers such as Caspar Lee & Zoella & all of those kids with really cool cameras and I also want cameras like them. :crying: Plus, I really like the auto-focus.

Does this make sense?

Thanks! ;)

There's not really a "best" one, it all depends on your needs, but be sure to go for one that records in at least 720p HD, auto-focus is very useful, but manual focus can be good too :)
Have a look at something like this :) http://www.canon.co.uk/For_Home/Product_Finder/Cameras/Digital_SLR/EOS_5D_Mark_III/index.aspx
Mind you, something like that is ridiculously expensive, but its to be expected, so try something like this if you don't wanna fork out thousands :) http://www.amazon.com/Canon-T3i-Dig...UTF8&qid=1369590588&sr=8-2&keywords=canon+slr

I use a Canon 650D (known as the Rebel T4i in the USA). Great camera - you'll see the quality from my videos. However a DSLR is probably not so great for vlogging due to the size and weight. You should be fine with a small compact camera - most record in 1080p now as well. The secret with any camera is good lighting though, and don't forget audio - look for one with a port to attach an external mic!

Depends what kind of vlogging you wanna do, if you are just in the one place you can get something like that, but if you are moving about a lot, definitely a portable one is needed!

I'd go with a Nikon or Canon as they are my personal choice as well, I personally am saving up for a Nikon D1500 but a Canon as long under $1000 and close to $600 to $800 with optical zoom I'm good ! :penguin:

If he plans to vlog, mk3 is the most overkill of the overkill :p
t3i ftw though. that or a panasonic gh2[DOUBLEPOST=1369592791,1369592713][/DOUBLEPOST]Canon t3i = very good, worthless onboard mic so you'd need to also buy external sound recording devices. You shoud most probably buy external sound recorders even for cameras with good sound ^^
Panasonic GH2 = Also very good

Also..what kind of budget!?
