Where did you buy your camera?

So I've decided I am going to buy a canon 600d. I'm not sure whether to buy on eBay or not? I would only buy from someone who has at least 99% positive feedback, but is it risky to spend that kind of money on there? I've looked into Argos and pc world/currys, and they are SO much more expensive than eBay! Should I just spend the extra cash and get it in a shop? Thanks

If you're gonna buy a Canon, go to an actual shop with real people. Or at least the online version of a shop that has real people. Avoid ebay for such expensive things! You won't get your proper warranty or insurance etc.[DOUBLEPOST=1374951728,1374951672][/DOUBLEPOST]If you want good quality without the massive budget, get a Nikon. The D3100 is great (I have one, so I can vouch) and they're approx £300, just as good quality.

There are also many other cameras that are just as good, don't pay for the name

Ahem. If they print "Sony" on the camera, that means it's better than other cameras. Duh!

I've also purchased a Canon recently (700d), I bought it from a local store. It's good because you can make sure that you're actually getting what you want, also the experts in the shop can give you advice and whatnot. Wheres buying from the internet can go bad (buying a fake device, or a used one with some mistakes that you were not aware of, etc).

Nikon all the way, I got mine at a store called Blacks, and I got the D5100

I buy all my cameras at CVS.

I got my T3i (600d) from Amazon. I bought it refurbished and it was a lot cheaper then a new or even a used one. I'd suggest uding amazon, it's a bit easier to find the cheapest price. But, eBay is good too if you can find a cheaper one. It's really all preference.
