When Will You Consider Yourself Successful?

My big, big goal is 1k subs, but thats a huge number for me, so it wont happen any time soon!
I will consider myself successful when I gain a 'fanbase'.. no, I don't mean hundreds of adoring comments on all of my videos, I mean a couple of re-occuring names that keep up with my videos and comment on a regular basis
*shrug* not sure though!

Not sure about the word 'successful', but I already feel happy with what I've done on YouTube. To me, getting lovely comments from viewers means the most and that's how I mainly evaluate whether or not it's been worthwhile.

But subscriber-wise, I would really like to pass the 5K mark... As that would lead to more opportunities!

The ultimate goal for me is 100K though, cuz those YouTube plaques look nice and would be a cool thing to keep and look back at in the future.

I considered myself successful when I had earned as much from ad revenue as I did from my regular job. That point was back in December, 2011
I just looked at your YT stats, and for like the last year you've been at 10m+ views per month. Isn't that more than enough to support yourself? Even at $1 cpm you should be bringing it atleast $10,000 a month!
Unless you have a really good paying job :p

I'll be very satisfied with 100 subs. It will be a huge stepping stone. But fame is a whole other level. I would think about 500 subs and at least 100 views on each video. ... Or maybe like... actually meeting a fan in real life. That might be the threshold between average shmo and famous person. *shrugs* who knows!

I already consider it somewhat a success, I've got a bunch of people who regularly watch my videos, I've made a little friend group and I enjoy it. I guess the next step to success will be if someone comes up to me who I don't know and tells me they watch my videos :')
