When were you contacted?

That's the thing though, I'm not understanding how people/ why people are signed. That's why I'm curious as to when people were contacted. How is it even beneficial for them the network?

They are playing the lottery with new channels. Sign them up when they're small with a crappy revenue share because they don't have any bargaining power, lock them into a 2 year contract and hope that a small percentage grow enough during those 2 years so that the money becomes meaningful.

I got contacted by some dude (not mentioning names or giving links to them) asking me to join the tag network just a week ago.

http://www.tagnetwork.nl/

I don't see how I have enough subs or views to join a network anyway.. xD

They contacted me the other day aswell, i asked why i should join, they said so i could get premium adds.

The reply was a poorly written message and gave me absolutely no faith in who ever was spamming people (not that i had any to begin with)

Most of the networks you get contact by are under the Forela Digital network, as a VN.

I'm curious to know when everyone was first contacted by a network. How long had you been on YouTube? How many views/subs did you have?
I had to contact Fullscreen once RPM denied me. I think I was still under 100k views and had around 100 subs. I was accepted once I was averaging over 500 views a day I think... Now the first time I was contacted by people reaching out was on October 6th by about 11 different companies and networks. For some reason they all liked my Dalmatian Dreaming about Flying video which still puzzles me, lol. It attracted the attention of the network I will eventually switch to as well as TV producers and other networks. Who would have thought that me randomly pulling out my iPhone while playing Xbox and filming my dog sleeping would get so much damn attention!? That video still has less than 10k views, but it has opened many doors for me... I guess I would call that the "gateway video", lol

after I made a sketch some network msg'd me and then I went into research on all that stuffs

It seems like the networks and other companies know who to contact (like Rumble) to get deals to place your videos on other websites.

yeah, the next YT network I'm looking at is Viral Spiral... I have to wait until November to switch though:crying: They contacted me, but I didn't like their contract length... I'm regretting that choice now... My newest subscription is with them, and I saw them post his video to Huffington Post and it got a TON of views and subs. They actually promote the channel which is unlike any other network I've seen. Rumble has posted my videos to MSN, Yahoo, etc. and seems to have gotten WAY more views than the videos get on YT. I'm still waiting on the $$$ count for the Profit Sharing, they said it takes a while some times to add up because they have to wait on their partners to report their earnings. So far I've made way more $$ with Rumble in a small amount of time, AND I can still keep my videos up on Youtube. I've confirmed that this is ok with Fullscreen and Rumble, so it's legit. The thing I hate about Rumble is douchebags copy the videos from the front page of Rumble and make Youtube pages with it, so my videos end up on Youtube under a bunch of stealing channels. I can call them out, and I will if they get tons of views, but so far I have left it alone. I told my Fullscreen manager they should step up their game and try to promote to big sites, still waiting on feedback
