When To Consider choosing a network

I've Got It
I have seen many forums posts talking about which network to go with or how networks work, What I would like to know is at what point in your channels growth did you decide to look at joining a network, Do you just go by the specifics that the network has for joining or did you have your own figures that you wanted to hit with views and subs etc before applying.? Thanks

It's personal preference really. But you definitely do not want to be signing a deal as a small channel. The costs outweigh the benefits, especially with the recent MCN changes that are on the way. In my opinion, I would wait until you have some sort of 'control' if that makes sense, where networks will likely be more lenient to what they are offering you as a channel.

As a gamer, perhaps you should wait until you meet Curse's requirements. As the chap above says ^^

Thanks guys, There are so many out there, Have never even heard of curse but will go ahead and learn a little about them now, Thanks for you input.

Curse is one of the most popular gaming networks, in my opinion, at the moment. A lot of good reviews about them floating around.
Thats cool, I will have to have a look at curse and see how they operate and also have a look on twitter and see what other people think.

We decided to Partner with RPM when our daily views pushed past 100.

Advertising is based on views not subs. Subs help and we do engage with all our subs however we have 283 subs but 600 daily views reaching a total view count of 45,000 to date.

Obviously cannot discuss finances but it is going well, not huge amounts but enough to see our analytics grow month on month.

Partner when you feel like it, if you don't qualify then keep pushing yourself. If you look at the networks they are more interested in views now than subs.

I'm not partnered yet and I'm gonna wait until I see a reason to get a partnership. Right now (except the right to monetize) I don't really get anything out from it (around 200 subs atm) and I don't wanna take the risk on binding my self to a bad network that doesn't benefit me for a long peroid of time.

Curse (UnionforGamer.com) is by far, the best gaming network in my opinion, so does everyone else think so.
