When is the best time to monetize my videos?

Was just wondering when to best time to monetize my videos was? only being a small YouTuber with something like 5 subs I didnt want to do it now! but for future reference just wanted to know!

I'd say that all forms that are not aggressive are fine from the beginning (by aggressive I mean for example video ads that force someone to wait. You won't get much at this point anyway)
 
From the beginning. People who don't like ads will have ad block and never see them and those who don't have ad block won't have any issue watching adverts. Plus the average viewer doesn't know whether or not it's your choice to put an ad on the video, they're just browsing YouTube! Just my thoughts :)
 
Look on Social Blade to see if it's actually even worth it. A lot of the time, you'd be making a few cents each month so it's not worth risking audience retention. You need to hold onto each second someone is willing to spend on your channel at first.
