When Does A Channel Start Experiencing Consistent Growth?

So I have 146 subscribers, but I've only gained 1 today, though my average is 3. It seems like some days I gain 9 when somebody gives me a shoutout or I post on a new forum, but other than that, I still seem to grow small. At what point would I be able to not depend on forums and shoutouts to keep growing? Basically, I'm saying how many subs would I need to get to before my channel will be easy to find???

When it creates good consistent content that gets passed along on other social networks besides YouTube.

It started for me around 1000 subs, I could stop producing content for 3 months and have a steady subscriber rise of around 10-15 a day.

I'm just saying that in order to get 5-6 subs, I have to constantly be posting my vids on forums and whatnot. NCS and other top users are an extreme example, but they consistently get 500+ subs daily without having to go on forums, I know that's an EXTREME example, but even other users around 1,000 subs can get 10-15 subs per day. If I go 3 days without using forums, I get like 2 subs those 3 days...

Maybe make more videos that are more open to other audiences? I gain 1 or 2 subs maybe a week lol

It's a waiting game. Just keep doing your thing and people will stumble upon your channel

It takes time to get your channel to have consistency, but if you want to really grow, you'll never stop promoting your videos. As you get larger, your fan base will help you promote on social media/forums, which will help free up your time to work on collaborations. When you reach a certain point, collaborations are going to be the only reliable way to consistently boost your sub level.
