Whats your favorite gear?

I use my iPhone 6s Plus for almost everything. I also have a GoPro 3! I love working with these because it's simple and convenient to take everywhere I go :) I'd love to get something better but for now I try to embrace my limitations by trying to be as creative as possible! How about you guys?
 
I use my Nikon D7100 for video, which I looove, and finally after investing in a microphone (Rode Video Mic Pro) I am in love with the quality combo.
 
I moved this to the video editing / software / hardware discussion forum. ^^

More and more I'm liking the Sony RX 100 V camera and my H1 Zoom microphone because they are so portable and little. :)
 
My favorite gear would have to be my camera, an Canon EOS M3. I worked so hard to get it and well I can't really film anything without it. My new favorite would have to be my Blue Yeti. Better sounding audio in videos makes a huge difference.
 
I use a Sony a6000 for my cars and coffee videos and the stationary shots of the car during my car reviews (also the driveby and take-off).

Then I have an AS50 in the interior, a AS100 on the windshield forward facing and a AS15 aimed at the exhaust to capture that glorious sound! They are Sony Actioncams if you are not familiar with the model designations. My camera is 2 years old, and all the action cams are older. The AS15 is the camera I started out with. The AS100 came next and then the a6000. I finalized my setup with the AS50. Now I hope to be able to save enough to get a new rig and move to 4K down the line.

I used Nikon in the past (it got stolen in South Africa a few years back tho. sadness) I never got a new one but when I do decide to invest, it will probably be in Nikon![DOUBLEPOST=1508383645,1508383583][/DOUBLEPOST]

Hi thanks for the reply :) I checked a few videos and was wondering when you use your yeti mic? do you take it along when you vlog?/ or is it mostly for stuff at home

I used to make gaming videos on this channel, but I unlisted them when I decided to change my content. For vlogs, I use a RODE VideoMicro.

AHH okay I was wondering! Yeah I made gaming videos too for a while but I never wanted to invest in equipment as I travel a lot and was concerned I might not make videos often enough. Which ended up happening... I came close to buying a blue yeti tho. I'm also more focused on vlogs now. It makes more sense; since I'm traveling I have loads to film.
 
I could gush ad-infinitum about my undying love for Sigma lenses, there bloody gorgeous things, razor sharp and though people dont much care for Chromatic Aberration I quite like the vibe it gives off. so theres always that :)

though my current love is my H1-zoom. when it turned up it looked cheap and plasticky but y'know what it's arguably the best microphone I've ever bought in terms of being an all rounder, fantastic audio quality a really decent shape for holding super long battery life, up to 18 hours recorded off a 16gb card and it came with an accessories kit all for £110. its great for recording on the go and its so compact I can slip it into a pocket or my bag and just head out. while obviously soundproofing helps I really have to say im in love with that bit of gear :)
