How do you come up with video ideas

I usually think of mine on the way to work or at work, while I have a lot of time to think to myself.
 
i get questions either from viewers or I make them myself to fit in with somne trending topic. Like my recent video was based on the Mayweather/McGregor fight coming up and the question is what I think people would want to know the most about it. I spend a couple hours writing up a basic script and then think of jokes as I go.

Google trends is a great way to see what is currently popular and can help you plan. Although, its best to make the video before it hits the trending just FYI so what ever you can do to see what is on the rise, the better. Good luck and have fun!

I make videos about news stories - for this i simple check a couple websites and store interesting stories in a notepad file to attack when I can get to bulk recording.

Another method for thinking of video topics I have outlined in a vlog, but Im not allowed to post it in this reply lol
 
Either i listen to some of the issues that i hear my friends have, or use my own life issues, or even just walk around my room and find things that people may not know or understand. So for instance if one of my friends says "i want to be able to balance out life, a relationship, school, and friends" then ill think immediately "How to do time management efficiently" as a video title, than brainstorm after that.
