A LOT of work. That's what. I've come up with some ideas, but they keep getting knocked down.

I love writing. I'm into art. And, personally, I LOVE animals. That's just a few things about me. The channel is about writing and art. How to put the two together?

CraftyCritter... taken- twice!

A few other ideas I've come up with, such as Crafty Corner, don't seem to be taken on YouTube, BUT can be found else where on line- meaning I could easily be mistaken as them. What a nightmare!

Any ideas/suggestions? How did you come up with your channel name? Help is appreciated. Thank you!
 
I would write a list as they come to you, perhaps have a look online at related sites to your niche for terms related to writing and art, you could go with something a bit more generic instead too. Me though I would sit with a pen for a few hours and write as many ideas as you can down and mix them together to make multiple combinations of each until you come up with a good one. I know it sounds bad taking so long but you could come up with a great username. What would a video of yours typically include painting, pencil drawings? It could be good to narrow it down further using terms related to specific aspects of art is. The crafty painter, PaintersQuill I don't know :D
 
Well I came up with a few names over the years that led to this one.
Dude2Alone (don't ask), Grade8goofball (young/stupid), Goofballstudios (Better but meh), Kdawg Creations (The evolution is complete.

I chose Kdawg Creations because some friends use to call me Kdawg and I didn't want a name to lock me down, so I used Creations to represent what I do, create things.
 
I've been working on a list. Here a little, there a little, as I am able.

Unfortunately, artistically, I don't know where I belong since I'm just getting started with it. Learning to draw, that is. Obviously, I can do DIYs. That's the sort of thing that's so easy a monkey could do it. I've discovered Smash Booking, Zentangles, drawing on glass- etching and painting, stencils, stamping and more. Simple artistry, at least for the time being, until I get drawing a little better. Who knows where I'll go artistically. In writing, I've always loved Fantasy (prose writing; I've never understood poetry) and Realistic Fiction. I don't like horror/thrillers. I literally can't handle the stress.

A name is what defines your character to your audience. For example, Dootybird would be seen by most to be a fun a playful character that plays games or has a fun blog. Another example, if your name was Herbert Von Dootsbird people would less likely think your videos were fun and would probably consider you a critic of movies or an Artist (professional) of some kind. So,it's good to choose what makes you feel good inside and what emotes the positive image of your channel. :D
 
Unlike my name now, I used to put together a list of adjectives and then a list of nouns and pick one at random from each list and mush them together.
