What's difficult about being a Youtuber?

balancing the two lives and attracting viewers are extremely difficult for me. Sometimes I think that youtube has enough "creators" already, and not enough viewers. :/

thousands upon thousands of videos are uploaded daily, and it´s getting harder for viewers to keep track and keep up with it!

Holding down a full time job and posting content every week is a massive challenge. Of course it's one that i enjoy otherwise i wouldn't be doing it but there are some weekends when i wish i could sit and do nothing! It's going to get a lot harder to sit and edit when summer gets here haha!

For me, it's probably the consistency in uploading quality video. You have to stick to your schedule, and you have to produce better and better video each upload.

I'll start. For me it's staying faithful to my schedule. I have to say that balancing a full time job and trying to upload at least once a week can sometimes be a challenge (kudos to those of you who upload daily)
I would have to say the exact same thing as you, and also keeping the ideas fresh and new to keep your subscribers coming back and watching you and new people subscribe too is also hard but if you keep going it will all work out eventually :)

Staying motivated to evolve my content after the last 400 days with 500 or so videos posted. I've been posting sporadically the last 3 months or so, while searching for the next activity I get hooked on. Then I'll build content around that, but in the mean time, post videos when my current topic is fun to post on. Whether or not it's a huge mistake for growth in the long term, probably is, but I'd rather not post than post just to please an audience for the sake of growth itself.

You know you need a change when you're picking up shifts at work instead of making more videos.

Staying true to schedules of course, but above that I think coping with school and YouTube at the same time, plus when friends do things on Friday nights and you have to pass up the opportunity cause it's the only time you have space in your week for YouTube :'(

I would agree with you! The hardest part is balancing Youtube (my hobbie) with my responsibilities and finding time to film, edit, and come of with content. Good to see i'm not the only one! :p
